Description

On the outskirts of a mountain village is for sale a rural two-storey stone house with a usable area of 98 m², built in 1955, renovated in 2010, on a plot of 300 m². During the renovation, the owner has preserved the traditional architectural character with wooden beams and complemented it with beautiful mosaics, which are found inside and outside the house. 

On the ground floor of 49 m² there is a hall, a kitchen with dining room and a bathroom. An internal wooden staircase leads to an open space with a bedroom, a living room and a small balcony. In the living room there is an old traditional fireplace. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the forest, and on a sunny day you can see the sea in the distance.

The first floor also has an area of 49 m². On the outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery, you can enjoy pleasant cool summer evenings with friends while baking delicacies in the traditional built-in oven. 

Location

The house is located on the outskirts of the traditional mountain village of Sklithro at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, surrounded by forest. The nearest beach is about 5 km from the village. The nearest larger seaside resort of Agiokambos is 10 km away. 

The district town of Larissa, with the highest number of cafes per capita in Europe, is 56 km away. There is also very good access from Thessaloniki, a distance of 150 km from the airport.

Rent

The house is habitable all year round, it is suitable for long-term quiet living in the lap of nature. If rented, it is intended for the category of people who want to enjoy a quiet holiday in summer and solitude in winter with locals, shops and taverns within easy reach.
