Services

Buying a property is usually a rational decision.

However, you may experience a strong impact of emotions, especially if you are considering buying a property by the sea.

Then the rule that 1 time seen is more than 1000 times heard clearly applies.

Personal tour

To get the right feel and make sure you’re choosing the perfect place for you, a personal tour is essential. You can take it at any time of the year or during your holiday. That’s when you combine the pleasant with the useful.

However, the best time to visit is during the off-season (winter and spring months). The air traffic may not be as dense, but you’ll avoid the crowds, the high prices and the temperatures. Plus, the property owners will have much more time for you.

I will arrange a viewing at a time of your choosing. I will arrange a meeting with the sellers and with local contact persons. Due to my extensive experience in the tourism industry, I will also arrange a complete trip for you if you wish, including flights, accommodation, car rental. For a guarantee of certainty, I accompany most clients personally when viewing the property.

Houses, flats, apartments

Only a limited supply of properties from the entire range of houses is shown on the website. If you have not found what you are looking for on the site, please contact me with your enquiry. I would also welcome a no-obligation personal meeting to outline your wishes and review your options. I will also provide you with reliable information about the buying process, legislation, taxes, and point out possible pitfalls associated with buying a property in Greece.

Land

If you decide to buy land in Greece and have building plans, I can save you a lot of time and energy even then. I will put you in contact with reliable contractors, an architect, request quotes and arrange for a bilingual contract to be drawn up. Both you and the Greek contractor will be clear on the agreements and your own development project will be worry free.

Why Greece

Compared to other southern European countries, Greece still offers significantly the best value for money. The location and size of the property are often much more favourable. As mass construction is not allowed in Greece, the landscape and atmosphere have still not lost their authenticity and have not succumbed to commerce.

The 2011 regulations have also helped to smooth the way for property purchases. Since then, every property must be legalised, so nothing illegal can be (re)built. In the buying process, a full legal check of the property is a matter of course, as the legal foundations of a house are at least as important as the construction ones.
