Location
Agiokampos is a seaside village in central Greece, 180 km by highway from Thessaloniki airport. The highway continues towards Athens under the almost year-round snow-capped Mount Olympus on one side and the famous resort of Katerini Paralia on the other. After turning off the highway, it is about 30 km to Agiokampos village along the coastal road.
Agiokampos and Velika are connected villages, famous for their 12 km long beach. The beach is wide, with sand mixed with pebbles. Along it runs a seaside road with a promenade lined with summer houses and restaurants, taverns and cafes. Beach bars have their sun loungers located directly on the beach, but there is still enough space for everyone. There are also local bakeries and mini markets. At the end of the bay there is a small port for fishing boats and private pleasure boats.
The area is especially popular with local Greeks from the city of Larisa.

Many Greeks from Larisa have their summer houses in the area of Agiokampos. The area is especially popular with local Greeks. It is not yet visited by foreign tourists to the same extent as other areas of Greece. This is also reflected in, for example, lower prices in local restaurants and beach bars.
